NARI Staff Donate to Disaster Zone in Mulitaka, Enga Province

NARI staff and their families recently donated a box filled with kitchen utensils and other items to victims in the disaster zone of Mulitaka, Enga province.

On behalf of the senior management, Human Resource Manager Jackson Pepeto was on hand to present the box of donated items to the children of the late Jacob Luke, Israel and Charlotte Luke, and family friend Geseng Ambang.

Mr. Israel Luke expressed his gratitude, noting that his father was a great supporter of humanitarian work in the country through his company MAPAI Transport. They wanted to continue his legacy by helping landslide victims under the theme, “We Rise By Helping Others.”

MAPAI Transport has offered free logistical support to freight the donated items to Mulitaka. Mr. Luke expressed appreciation for the positive response. The donation by NARI staff and families will be transported along with other donations from Lae to Enga in the coming days.

Other organizations in Lae have also responded positively to help the victims of the landslide-stricken area in Enga.
