The construction of a permanent shed will not only provide easy access to farm machinery but improve rice related research work for NARI’s Momase Regional Centre. The new building is supported by the Taiwan International Cooperation Development Fund.
This work initially started in July and to be completed in October, is jointly being undertaken by the repair and maintenance teams of NARI and Taiwan International Cooperation Development Fund.
Apart from providing storage space form farm machinery, equipment, storage for tools, an office space for staff, seed storage, space for drying rice and work will look into breeding foundation rice seeds.
