Human Resource team carry out awareness on restructure

The Human Resource team, led by Human Resource Manager Jackson Pepeto, carried out an awareness program for the staff at the regional centres, starting with the Momase Regional Centre (MRC), about NARI’s restructure program.

This awareness initiative began at the MRC on June 6 and continued at other regional centres, including Aiyura in Eastern Highlands, Tambul in Western Highlands, Laloki in Central, and Kerevat in East New Britain.

The objective of this awareness program is to address changes in roles, responsibilities, and benefits, especially for ancillary staff who will now be included in the new structure.

Ancillary staff at MRC Bubia and the NARI Head Office raised concerns to the team. The staff expressed appreciation for the HR team, noting that the awareness cleared some doubts and motivated them to continue offering their services to the institute.

In response to the concerns raised, Mr. Pepeto stated that responses would not be immediate but would require time and patience as the institute progresses with the restructure program. He thanked the staff for attending and contributing to the meaningful discussions.

Ancillary staff from MRC and the Head Office attentively listen during the restructure awareness session.
